As I was saying, we booked our holiday at a campsite with heated swimming pool in the Vendée. The location is perfect: in the heart of a charming seaside resort, close to the beach and all the shops. In just a few steps we found ourselves with our feet in the warm sand.
We found everything we needed for a successful holiday on the campsite: a snack bar with delicious meals, a bar for refreshments and a grocery shop if we needed it. But our favourite part of the campsite was of course theaquatic area of the campsite in the Vendée with its heated swimming pool. A place that reminded us every moment of the joy of being on holiday. We had hired bikes for the week from a shop near the campsite. Thanks to the many cycle paths in the Vendée, we were able to criss-cross the coastline from north to south and east to west.
