How did we end up in this 4-star establishment? Quite simply. We had a few requirements, criteria we didn't want to deviate from. The objective was clear. Not to use the car. To do everything on foot or by bike, that's what we were hoping for. After an active search on the web and by applying certain filters, we obtained some convincing results. We weighed up the pros and cons of each of these structures. And in the end we decided.
A Paradise campsite on the outskirts of Les Sables d'Olonne
Heading west, towards the Vendée in a campsite with pool area located at the gateway to the Sables d'Olonne. We have chosen the Paradis de la Pomme de Pin campsite for the following reasons:
- Direct access to the beach. Aperitifs and sunsets on a warm sandbank are just around the corner!
- The proximity of the port, where you can enjoy a pleasant stroll.
- The proximity of shops and markets. We loved talking to the local producers and tasting their products.
- Customer reviews on the Internet. They were excellent and I have to say that they helped us make our decision.
All in all, we couldn't have wished for anything better. In fact, I think we're going to take out a subscription to La Pomme de Pin.
