We wanted to discover a very special area of the Vendée: les Sables d'Olonne. But we know how well-known and famous this resort is. We didn't want to stay in this town for fear that the establishment we selected would be too big. No, we just wanted to be in a family campsite so that we can get together without losing sight of our priorities.
Summer is approaching, choose your campsite
It was on the advice of our friends that we tried out Camping la Pomme de Pin. This is a family campsite located near the Sables d'Olonne and that's exactly what we needed. We had a fabulous summer.
As this is a family campsite, we were able to get together without being swamped by a huge structure. The pleasure of sharing moments in theaquatic areaWe were able to make happy memories thanks to the entertainment provided by the campsite team. It was wonderful! And, of course, we were able to discover the Sables d'Olonne.
We'd heard so much about this town... well, I'm going to tell you a secret, without exaggerating in the least... it was a real crush! The whole family loved the sublime sandy beach, and for culture, the Musée du Coquillage followed by a visit to the Ile Penotte district. And for entertainment, we tried out the Zoo, a park with a strong ecological focus, with a large section devoted to raising awareness of eco-conservation and species protection.
In short, you've got it, we had a dream holiday in this family campsite close to Sables d'Olonne. I can even tell you that I've already booked our future holidays there, as we still have so much to discover.
